How the Wine Tasting Experience Works (Approx. 2 Hours)
Your tasting will be hosted by a dedicated wine presenter who will guide you and your guests through a relaxed, interactive, and enjoyable journey of discovery. We bring everything required for the tasting, set up the space beautifully, and ensure the event flows smoothly from start to finish.
1. Welcome & Setup (10–15 minutes)
We arrive ahead of time to prepare the tasting area with glasses, tasting mats, wine notes, and any food pairings you’ve selected. As guests settle in, they’re welcomed with an introduction to the theme of the tasting and what to expect.
2. Introduction to Wine Basics (10 minutes)
We begin with a brief overview of wine fundamentals - how to swirl, smell, and taste wine properly, what to look for in aroma and flavour, and how to identify key characteristics such as sweetness, acidity, tannin, and body.
3. Guided Tasting of Each Wine (60–70 minutes)
Guests are guided through each wine one by one. For every wine, we cover:
A short story or background on the style
What makes the wine unique (grape variety, region, or winemaking method)
Aromas, flavours, and structure to look out for
Pairings & Platters (Optional, served throughout)
If cheese or charcuterie boards are included, we introduce how to pair each item with the wines. Guests can nibble as we move through the selections, creating a well-rounded and enjoyable tasting journey.
